The Days of Turkish culture were held at the Baku State University.
The event was opened by the university`s rector, MP Abel Maharramov who praised the two countries` relations as “fraternal”.
Turkish Ambassador Hulusi Kilic said such events contribute to bringing people closer to each other.
Following the speeches, Maharramov awarded the Turkish ambassador with a medal.
Kilic in turn donated nearly 200 books to the university.
The event ended with a book fair devoted to the Turkish culture.
