Azerbaijani Ministry of Education proposes to make easier content of schoolbooks

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Education held a meeting, connected with preparation and edition of teaching materials during 2010-2011.

Minister of Education Misir Mardanov told that  this year the edition of 111 names of schoolbooks and textbooks for teachers is envisaged.

«Out of them 71 are designed for 6th  and 8th -11th  forms, and 40 - for 3rd form. Publication of sets of schoolbooks for 3rd  form was distributed by means of the tender,” Minister said.

M. Mardanov said that it is necessity to attract larger number of  teachers of secondary schools to work out  schoolbooks. He also said that language and scientific load of schoolbooks should be made easier for pupils of relevant age.

Minister also recommended to approach more responsibly to preparation of schoolbooks.
