Azerbaijan endorses Regulation on state information system Graduate Student

By another executive order President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has approved the Regulation on state electronic information system Graduate Student and the amendments to the Regulation on State Student Admission Commission.

The Cabinet Ministers is to submit the proposals for bringing the valid legislative acts in compliance the order for one month; ensure bringing of standard and legal acts in compliance with the order and inform the President of that; submit a draft legislative act establishing responsibility in case of higher ad secondary schools’ failure to connect to state electronic information system Graduate Student or undue, incomplete or wrong inclusion of data in the system by these educational institutions; solve other issues following the order.

SSAC was commissioned to take measures on creation, renewal and effective use of Graduate Student system and the Ministry of Education the measures on ensuring the connection of higher and secondary special educational institutions to Graduate Student system and due, full and right addition of data by them.

According to the Azerbaijani President, creation of Graduate Student system is necessary to enable analysis of impact of being-realized reforms in education sector on quality of education and statistical surveys reflecting the real situation for these reforms, and demands creation of single electronic information system.
